Thermal overload relays are economic electromechanical protection devices for the main circuit. They offer reliable protection for motors in the event of overload or phase failure. The thermal overload relay can make up a compact starting solution together with contactors.
Main benefits
Reliable protection for motors
Easy to create starters
Optimized match to ABB contactors
Single mounting kits and wire reset for remote control available for specific applications.
Main features
Trip class 10
Adjustable current setting ranges
Overload protection with phase loss sensitivity
Temperature compensation up to +60°C
Automatic or manual reset, sealable
Stop and test function.
The Residual Current Circuit breaker RCCBs are the safest device to detect and trip against electrical leakage currents, thus ensuring protection against electric shock caused by indirect contacts. These devices must be used in series with an MCB or fuse which protects them from the potentially damaging thermal and dynamic stresses of any over currents. They also act as the main disconnecting switches upstream of any derived MCBs (e.g. domestic consumer unit).
Main benefits
Safety performances ensured worldwide by international marks approval
High quality execution and attention to details
Complete range of products and related accessories
Main Features
AC, A, B, AP-R types available to ensure protection against all kinds of earth fault currents
Rated Currents from 16A up to 125A
Rated I∆n Sensitivity 10, 30mA, 100mA, 300mA, 500mA and 1A
ABB SACE means quality and innovation in the low voltage world.
Products that have been designed to increase efficiency in all installations: from industrial and naval applications to traditional and renewable power generation installations, buildings, data centers and shopping centers.
High quality, accuracy and reliability are key features for ABB low voltage circuit-breakers. High performances in any conditions, safe-to-use products and easy replacements of components are always guaranteed.
From 16 to 1250 Amp, up to 690V.
The switch fuse is used as the main switch in low voltage switchgears in the industry for distributing power and protecting motors, cables and other devices against short circuits and overloads.
The standard switch fuses withstand 100 kA fault current and they are available for all types of fuse links, DIN, BS, NFC, UL, CSA.
The range includes single pole to four pole versions, front- or side-operated. The pole module design enables location of the operating mechanism in any position together with the direction of the terminals giving flexibility to installation in different types of cubicle designs.
